Peabody Construction

9" x 12" watercolor and ink on 140lb. Fabriano paper

This was done from an on-site pencil sketch at a local construction site.
The tractor/digger looked rather lonely among the brush, but
made for a nice contrast vs. the natural setting.

a charming scene, one in which i cold lay down and ponder within and of beyond, i can almost smell the rural aspect

Hi. Thanks for your nice comments!
For some reason, I like looking at construction vehicles and sites and think about how I can work that into an interesting scene. This piece was the result of two scetches I did on-site one day at lunch time.
Thanks, again!

Great use of purple/yellow combo.
And yes, a very interesting composition.
